Hello all,
This past weekend was quite an eventful one for me...
Saturday was my dad's cremation day. He received the king's cremation ceremonial one because he was a judge and had received some honorable badge from the king for that. It was quite a mournful event for me, knowing that it was the end of the chapter and had put a complete closure to me. My mother and siter cried, and almost fainted...which was heart-breaking.
Sunday, we brought his ashes to be floated onto the river and to let go of his spirit. It was a Buddhist tradition to do so. So the whole family went to Chao praya river, the main river of Thailand. Many families were there to do the same thing. We rented a ferry boat to take us out , 30 minutes from the pier.. then we said good bye to our dad, and let go of him...
The memory and feeling of having/not having someone is quite complicated.. it mixes with happiness, sadness, and some other indescrible feelings.
At least on my end here, I have done my part and I am sure my dad is in a better, happier place. I guess the rest of us is waiting for our turn to leave this world and people whom we love and cherish.
I am not sure if there is any point to this, except for that life is fragile, and to cherish the moment with our loved ones... before its too late.
Ok, onto a more joyful matter, I shot this new model, Rafael, brazillian-japanese model and I just got the images back...So here they are, a couple of pics from the shoot.
what do you guys think?
Until then,
