"One of my most interesting Lushmixes because I have not played Drum & Bass for what might have been 10 years. Still on my signature jazzy-funky-soulful sound of all kinds, I like my D&B organic sounding. Taking a directive from ol-skool master Afrika Bambataa, I play the old and new, mixing up the ol and nu. D&B for half hour, cut out to our fellow singaporeans Cosa Nostra's Matriz Do Funk and onto a house session, while paying tribute to Earth Hour. Since Lushmix goes out live on FM, we can't switch off with Earth Hour so I switch to playing a set for Earth Hour. Highlights environmentally minded tracks like 'Mother Earth' by Armand van Helden and 'This World' by Slam to send a positive message out through progressive music. Really enjoyed the session. Plus, thanks to X'Ho for his assistance in the broadcast studio and nice seeing Ramesh K and Budi Wicked Aura drop in before Lushmix."
