Okay, I'm not like a super fashion forward person, but NYC fashion is rubbing off on me. Found myself wandering around Manhattan and ended up at some antique stores, where I snatched up these uber-old books by two women writers, one of who was an abolitionist. These were printed in 1860 and 1887, and are now the oldest "things" I have ever owned. Stephen King once said that writing and reading is like telepathy, and I have really come to feel that sentiment.
