Miskeen Asia Continued. . .

So I have rested up yeah yeah . . . she says . . . and all ready to get you folks up to date on the Miskeen scene in Asia, hopefully this time the blog will not take me three hours, coz there is nothing like back tracking and realizing later that you missed out VERY important pieces of the story line. . . In any case here it is, I'll give it a go!

As some of you know already, I come from the land of Milk & Honey . . . and if you dont know where that is . . . ISRAEL and I'm damn proud of it! My heart is there so after such a busy three months where it was completely full on I decided to check out the Hip Hop scene in Israel and at the same time celebrate my 28th birthday and have a holiday, there is nothing like enjoying a business trip at the end with a holiday attached!

So one night I go to see a very well known hip hop dj in a warehouse style of a club and stupidly forgot that the press like to follow me around in Israel . . . WHY? just coz they can and coz of what I do with the PRing and Miskeen, despite the fact I used to model a shiz load when I was younger . . . It was a great party only thing was  there were tooooooooooo many people! and for those of you who have never partied it up there, going out is not till about 1am and coming home is not till 11am the next day! Usually and sunrise everyone heads to underground clubs with names such as 'The Breakfast Club' . . . anyhow here at the Hip Hop Party in Israel. . .

Back in HK a week or two later and its already nearing end of August, MCG calls me and says Club Richy in Shanghai is having an opening and they booked MCG for the first week of VIP celebrations with celebrities from around the world flying in to help celebrate. . . naturally my brotha wants Miskeen's support, so I book my ticket and arrange a select few pieces that havent been released yet on the market as well as one of a kind painted few pieces for MCG and his man DJ Lori (from 4PM the group they are both part of).

I fly in and hook up with my bro from XYGZ Ant  the man and stay at my mates pad (one of the partners in Sev7en Jeans) with their little dipple doody dog RAMSES . . .

We at this point are all psyched!!!!!!! How much fun!!!!!!!! I love watchin me bro perform he really knows how to lift a crowd up!!!!!

So on the way I call my uncle Andrew Bull and tell him his niece is in town ready to partay!

Wow that was a trip, I have never ever ever ever ever evvvvvaaaaaaaaaaa partied as much and as hard as I did in Shanghai, seriously, that place is insane on the party circuit! So we all decided "what happens in Shanghai, stays in Shanghai" !!!

Back in HK two nights later, and a couple days later Miskeen sponsored the launch party of HKGFM.net Hong Kongs first internet radio with more than just music! It was held at the new club Q in Lan Kwai Fong in association with Beats Magazine. We had a lot of people turn up the undergrounders and the candy pop (as i like to call em) celebrity types. Even Josh Hartnett turned up, oh and this is where I met alivenotdead.com!!!!!

I met Patrick through Adrian from Audio Traffic - Adrian, Don and myself were all in the same class throughout primary school so we all go waaaaay back! a few drinks later and we all were in chats about music, urbanism, keepin it real and the love of it all! Also at the launch party were Gold Mountain and his partner in crime DJ Motiv8 the founder and producer of the black eyed peas!
