881 being my first feature film has given me the opportunity to work with a team of talented film makers. This includes the production team, art direction, makeup unit, costume department , the other casts, the director (Royston Tan), the producer (Gary Goh) and so on .Their devotion to the art of film-making have touched me in so many ways. And most importantly, it increases my penchant for acting and honed my skills as an actress. Looking back now, the experience I gain is priceless.

I still think its a miracle that I am part of this movie. And believe me, I didn't expect it to do well in the box-office. Since its opening in 9 August this year, it has $3.5m box-office sales. Indeed an amazing result for a local film. It surprises me by appealing to a younger generation and at the same time also draw a huge crowd of older audiences, who has never been to cinemas for more than a decade or two.

It travelled to Pusan International Film Festival(PIFF) this year as a new category " Gala Presentation section".  Besides, it is nominated for the 44th Golden Horse Award  "Best Makeup & Costume Design" this year.

I really count on my lucky stars to be blessed with this advance on career for me. Something that I loved and take pride in doing.
