FINALLY!

Long time readers of this blog will know that I often cite articles from Chosun Ilbo. I am proud to say that I finally made it into that paper. It's a great review from a very influential critic in Korea. Things are happening. I'm in Seoul right now doing promotion for the film and the response seems to be really great so far.

From Chosun Ilbo:

"You may start to watch “West 32nd,” a new film by Korean-American director Michael Kang, without much expectation, sitting comfortably in your chair. But at a certain point you will find yourself on the edge..."

Please help spread the word. If you know anyone in Korea, let them know.

Most recent news, is that we have decided to push the release of the film by a week, so the film is now opening on November 22. The reason is so we can get more screens and not compete with Beowolf which is opening on Nov 15.

Just like in the U.S., the first weekend of a film is the most important. If we can build a groundswell of support, this film could become a real sleeper hit. Please please please help.

If you don't live in Seoul, there is another way you can help with just a click of a mouse. If you hit this link to Naver.com ~ http://movie.naver.com/movie/bi/mi/basic.nhn?code=62637, you will help build the rating meter of the West 32nd. If enough people click, we can get on the front page of Naver. For those of you that don't know, Naver is like Yahoo and Google in one for Koreans.

FIGHTING!
