Slant, an annual short film festival seeks works by Asian American filmmakers. For the eighth year, Slant will showcase an eclectic mix of the best in emerging Asian American cinema. All genres are accepted.
Details
Program Content: All genres, including narrative, experimental, film art/video art, documentary and animation.
Eligibility: Filmmakers or film content should be Asian American or Asian Canadian.
Running Time: Each work should run 30 minutes or less.
Formats: Works may be presented on VHS, SVHS, DVD, Mini DV, or 16 mm film. Mini DV is preferred. Please note we do not have Beta.

Postmark Deadline: February 22, 2008. Please include a SASE if you want your tape returned.
Entry Fee: None!
Payment: Makers are paid $4/minute of film/video, $40 minimum. Aurora also pays return shipping and insurance on tapes and films. We pay distributors their published rate for rentals, but are happy to receive discounts.
