I guess it's a bit late to talk about Thanksgiving but I did want to mention how thankful I have been to you and how much you have helped the film. There has been a great groundswell of grassroots support. The emails I've received from people that have gotten to see the film in Korea and the folks that spread the word overseas have been really touching and encouraging. I want to take a moment to mention a few people who went the extra mile to help get the word out: Thanks to Henry Yoo who put together an impromptu screening series for his film club of The Motel and Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle to raise awareness. And big thanks to Henry Kim and Peter Kim up in the Bay Area for hooking us up with an interview on Korean American Radio AM1400 in San Jose. We are still trying are best to get the word-of-mouth in Korea to spread.  We have a small release and when you are competing with huge Korean and US films that are on 200-500 screens in Korea, it is tough to get folks to notice us (we are only on 20 screens!) Considering that though, we still came in 17th at the box office last week overall. That's not so shabby. But I am hoping we can do better. Right now, we are fighting to keep those 20 screens open (and losing that battle already, the film could go at any moment if we don't make sure people come out to see the film). If you have friends in the U.S. with connections to Korea or friends and family in Korea, please pass this email on. 화이팅! -Michael Kangdir. Right now all I can say is that we are working onfiguring out a theatrical release for the Spring of '08. If you canhold off from downloading it or buying a bootleg VCD, I guarantee thatthe experience of watching the film in a theater will be worth thewait. Stay tuned for more on that.  ****  A NOTE FROM GRACE PARK: The making of West 32nd, with its story, characters and cast, was an absolute gem of an experience.  From the moment I read the opening sequence I was enthralled with the tapestry of visual stories that spun around you, seducing you into the underground world that lives and breathes on Manhattan's West 32nd. Upon meeting the cast at our table read the first day, it was apparent that we were in the presence of casting magic, which became transformed into charismatic, compelling, inviting and dark performances and characters.  It is hard to take your eyes off of these people as they live on screen. Being a part of this film was really important to me.  It represents discovery.  Discovery of my Korean heritage, peers, working in the Korean language, and the Korean film market.  As well for the audience, there's an unveiling, learning and exploration of this unique covert subculture.   And finally I had a personal revelation of myself involving self-image, perception and awareness  because of my experience of and interactions from playing "Lila". This film comes at an exciting time with Hollywood and Korea reaching out to each other, broadening and deepening their horizons.  This film is a rich symbol of that consummation.  Support and watch West 32nd and be a part of history.Thanks
