so... a bit about this "Trailwalker" thing i am doing next friday, Nov 9. in short, i walk from sai kung to tuen mun for a total distance of 100km. actually, it is possible. see route below:
and yes, it is going to take me a rather long time. our team of 4 is targeting somewhere between 28-30 hours. we had the same target last year, and ended up doing about 36 hours. the winners take about 12 hours!
and no, i'm not psycho, as i know there are at least another 3800 or so other people who do this every year. hmmm... guess that doesn't automatically makes me unpyscho, so let me rephrase - there are at least another 3800 semi-psycho ppl out there every year.
here are some more pix so you don't get too bored:
my teammates: herman, phoebe, and roy
mountains, and more mountains, and more mountains..........
so anyway! the whole point is this is really fun and i encourage everyone to try this out at some point while they are in Hong Kong.
and one last sunset picture at the tallest mountain in Hong Kong - Tai Mo Shan.
so most importantly, you can support us and make my walk a little less painful by donating to oxfam! our team link is here: http://admin.oxfamtrailwalker.org.hk/en/registration/teamDetail.html?teamId=200750550
