It's been 2 months since I started my self-imposed "blogging hiatus". It's been a nice break and it helped me develop a little more perspective on what I'm doing, both with blogging and in other areas of my life.
And with that newly developed perspective I'm ready to get my blog back on. What have I been up to these past 2 months? If I have time I will post up the highlights, but no promises.
This afternoon I will be flying to Fuzhou for a short trip to visit some friends. The 2007 China Wushu Naitonals started there yesterday so I will miss the first two days of competition, but I'm not really going to watch the wushu, but rather to hang out with some people I haven't seen in a long time. Much like the CMAT in Berkeley, it's a good event to attend because I can see several friends from various parts of China in one location.
Many birds, one stone.
Also, as I promised to Dor Yuk, I've posted up some of my old wushu videos on my profile page. These aren't all of them, but just a small collection of a few of the easier ones to locate on my hard drives. They're from various times in my training life so you can get a good idea of how my wushu has changed (and how my waistline has expanded) over the years. When I have time I will put up a more comprehensive selection and probably blog some notes too.
Enjoy!
