Happy Ms. Kidman

I attended the "The Golden Compass" press release today.

Director Chris Weitz, Nicole Kidman, and Dakota Blue Richards (13 year old girl who won the role of Lyra among 15,000 contestants) came to Tokyo to promote the movie.

As you may know, Nicole is 5 months pregant. But my gosh! She was wearing a full PRADA outfit, a beautiful corset like dress that is see-through around the belly. Did she look pregnant? NOT! Still very lean and glowing.

This was Nicole's advice to young dreamers: "Don't listen to, 'You can't do it'. I was told that I was too tall to be an actress, or a girl from Australia won't make it in the industry, but I had the passion and made it my driving force. You have to withstand the critism and rejection."
