Wow! A happy ending to this

The guy I helped 2 days ago arrived safely in Bangkok and has sent me a mail assuring me that he was alright. He also added me to facebook and told me how he really was before he got into trouble. He was a proud owner of a 300 crowd heavy music pub on a booming weekend. Where previously he bought the pub,there were only a few people inside. So these pictures of him beaming and these friends saying all these things definitely added to my surprise factor. I had not thought he was lying when he told me some of these when I first met him,but I had not really bothered to really soak in cynical doubt. So u see,there is a happy ending to all these. He really wants to repay me and I really really don't want any or something!!!!! This was his facebook message to me and I was super glad to know he had indeed landed safely.

"Well im still a live.....thanks ta you! Your wings worked well

1000 in my bag!! What a bum!!! Iv made my self a promise to repay u for being so kind."

I could not stop smiling. This thing about "wings". Hahahaha. When I bought him medicine the other night and some food,the final thing I did was go to the grocery store to get him provisions and ameneties for his travel to Bangkok. While I did that, I remembered he poked me on the shoulder once and shyly said " How about that? Wait, let's see, how big are your wings?"

"Stay in contact! Forever my GA xx"

Guardian angel.Aww...There were pictures of his son Logan and the pub which was named after the little cute boy. It was amazing. He looked a world of difference without his ailment and he was hugging his son and beaming! At least he wasn't all alone in this world,even though his wife had left with his best friend. He invited me to go to Salisbury where he was from and that he can properly thank me. He had been down and out because physically and emotionally he had been wrought. I think I have been rewarded enough by his kind words and u guys on alive not dead,it's really not a big deal, so u don't have to praise me or I'd find myself very fake and hypocritical for sharing this story.:)

So there,just wanted u guys to know about the aftermath! On another brighter note,I once heard this at a wedding party, yes,I'm usually not too hot about cheesy slogans or phrases,but I secretly liked this one.

" I do not believe in happy endings because true love has no ending."

I mentioned this because I thought this was a happy ending indeed, but yes,not just true love,true friendship,true kinship,true fellowship,they all have no "endings." Have a great day everyone. I'm going back Tpe today, it's been a blast in HK but I'd come back often. I have a million things to take care of and now am hoping I'd be in the pink of health to do so.:)
