In a world of great negativity, a drop of encouragement, a pat on the back are cherished treasures longed by many people. Just watch the news on teevo, the paper or even listening to peers rant, it is natural for anyone to feel dismayed even if they had woken up wanting to start a fresh day. If you feel that way, you aren't alone because misery loves company. But why spend time mulling over drinks and grousing when perhaps you can elevate your own spirits by thinking right first or encouraging someone you treasure as a friend or love?
When Nathaniel Hawthorne got fired from his job at a customhouse, he too was a broken man. Feeling that he was a walking failure, he went home to confess the news to his wife. To his incredible surprise she exclaimed excitedly and said
" You can write your book!"
However he groused over what they would live on if he really went and did that. To his astonishment, his wife opened the drawer and pulled our a tidy sum of money. She told him that she had always known he was a man of genius and that someday he would write a masterpiece so she saved week after week the money he had given her from housekeeping and now they had an amount to last the entire year!
From her belief and confidence, Nathaniel Hawthorne went on to produce one of the greatest novels in American literature, The Scarlet Letter.

So you see even in recession and bad times, as long as there is faith and confidence, it is the beginning of a new journey. If we are negative, we influence and bring down the spirits of those who love and care for us. Rather if you contain positivity, you can infuse hope into someone who is struggling to get up. The trick is to first infuse yourself with it.:)
Be inspired and inspire.
