That pie you gave me was the insane root
I ate it heartily anyhow
It was fiery red, with brilliant fashion
And seduced me to chomp, chew, devour
Smeared like a powdered sugar donut
I licked the whites lovingly, longingly
With such candour
Until the earth danced a merry twinkle
The stars started their beaming tentacles
Anticipating with bated breath
Snuffing her last gasp into a blurry whirl
My mind became a kaleidescope, fragmented
Distended into a tortured masterpiece
Delighted in disperse
I cherished that pie you gave me
Every bite simmered with the heat
Flashbacks of a secondary fable
Mixed with the salt from my bloodied tongue
As I chomped, chewed devoured
Every speck of that arsenic laced
Bitter- spectacular sweet pie
I felt the pallor of my skin rise slowly
Eagerly lapping to the cresendo of my heart
With the echoes of the loud tick tock
Like the smattering of guns with roses
Bloodied rose,divine thorns
Then all was still.
Be inspired and inspire.
