Human Trafficking, film

Recently saw a film called Human Trafficking. It disturbed me greatly, to know kids are abducted and forced to become sex slaves by ruthless mercenary businessmen. I hope more and more people take notice of the unfortunate crimes in the world even as recession hits us. Driven to despair, unscrupulousness reigns, these are hard times. My mum and I are in the process of helping some orphans get through their basic education and amenities in India. I wish I could do more but these things require more time and resources. I am sure I can attain my dream of setting up a school with great lodging and facilities for unfortunate kids someday.Alot of our friends, their kids and our cousins and loved ones have our love and attention. Imagine if u were alone and lost, like some of these children who had no one after losing their parents to malaria, cholera, AIDS or war. I admire some of the humanitarian efforts put forward by some organizations to help the needy. Unfortunately there are also those bad ones that fight with advertisers for every penny until none is left for the ones who need it.As we celebrate the spirit of Christmas, let's also remember those that need love and shelter, food and basic amenities.
