Today a little interesting incident happened that made me smile. I was having lunch with a friend and while eating a little boy came running into the place. Crying. The little boy was the grandson of the boss and he was in tears because he was trying to play chinese chess but the people at his side kept telling him what to do. In a frustrated moment he burst into tears when he lost and people started pointing and explaining why. I found the bawling somewhat fascinating,because I was trying to figure if the little boy of not more than 10 was upset because he was irritated by bystanders or because he lost.

I reached from my bag and cajoled him with a snicker bar.

Me: 送给你巧克力，别哭了！来，笑一个！

        (Here's a chocolate bar,dry your tears, give me a smile!)

Little boy sniffs and takes the chocolate bar. He musters a weak smile.

Little Boy: 姐姐谢谢。

                  (Thank you big sister)

I grinned.

Me: 那以后跟姐姐玩棋子好不好？你教姐姐吧，你很聪明！

       （Then in future play chess with Big Sister ok?You teach Big Sister,you're the smart one!)

Little Boy: OK!!!!! Heee skips and runs off

My friend: Wow, Lyd,you are good with kids. Maternal instincts huh?sniggers

Me: Erm no. I'm actually scared of kids. I er,just thought I could help.

My friend: Do you have any more snickers?

Me: ..........

PS: Yes,im the SNICKER lady.
