“The Canvas”.

I am searching. For the meaning, for the importance of what I am doing.

This post takes its title from a short film I completed in November 2009 – “The Canvas” - about a blind painter who learns to accept her situation, with the help of her loved one.

I live to create. I live to learn.

It’s like my very breath, the very fabric of my being, my raison d’etre.

And once I’ve started, I thirst & I hunger for more. It’s like a never-ending chase for the next source of inspiration, the next creation, the next story, the next breakthrough, the next miracle, the next wondrous happening. It’s like an addiction – finding new things to do, new pies to dip my fingers into.

Because I ache for more. I reach for more. I search for more.

I’m greedy in that way.

Not just an actor, I’m a presenter-host. Not just a host, I’m a model. Not just a model, I’m a singer. Not just a singer, I’m a producer. Not just a producer, I’m a trainer. Not just a trainer, I’m a tutor. Not just a tutor, I’m a property agent. Not just a property agent, I’m a recycling bin-marketer. Not just a marketer, I’m a trader. Not just a trader, I’m a networker.

Many hats. Many fields. Many skills.

But above all, I am called to CREATE.

Create new stories, new films, new characters, new opportunities, new viewpoints.
