I just got back from Jubilee Hall, after bumping-in & tech run today. Praying that everything will be fine for tomorrow’s first performance. We were behind schedule, and everyone was exhausted. I think we were running on adrenaline by the end of the night (2:30a.m.). That meant that we were laughing at anything & everything, people were being random & singing & spouting the odd joke. It was fun, but tiring.
I enjoy it though, tiring as it is. I only hope that everything runs well tomorrow.
God, we commit the entire production into Your hands. Amen.
The worst thing is that it’s so late now, I’ve to report by 12p.m. tomorrow, my stomach is growling from hunger & my brain is so active right now.
Why are humans always drawn to one another? How can I stand out from the crowd, and create a connection with you? “I’m so foolish, I don’t know what I’m doing.” - a line I did during the Tisch Directing Exercise this morning.
Goodnight.
