restless.

I think I’m getting restless once again.

When I was in Secondary School, my class teacher made us do a work personality test. My ambition then was to be a journalist. But according to the test, I was not suited to jobs on the move, but rather, I would excel in desk-bound office jobs. Hah. What a joke. That just proves we need to take all these tests with a pinch of salt, ‘cos I would feel extremely claustrophobic should I be bound to an office job.

Haven’t blogged for 6 days. Manchester United successfully moved into the Semi-finals of the FA Cup, and will be facing Everton next. Quest for the Quintuple is still on, and they are still fighting!

Nothing exciting has happened in my life. Hmmmm. I was Master of Ceremony (emcee) at the KDF Mandarin Forum last Saturday, held at Suntec City Ballrooms 1 & 2. Over a thousand people attended the forum. Served in JW & attended a ministry-wide briefing at Riverwalk on Sunday. Changes are afoot.

Tuition these past 3 days. I’ve a total of 5 students now… which means a sizeable income every month. But which also eats up a precious amount of my time.

I want to take dance lessons - Contemporary Dance, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, MTV & Ballet. Deciding between O School, Studio Wu, Jitterbugs & ECNAD now. So many things I want to learn, but so little time, and limited funds! I’ll be undergoing my Contemporary Vocals Stage 1 Evaluation ( a.k.a. E-X-A-M) on 28 March (Sat) at Hark Music’s Open Stage. Singing in front of strangers for my Exam!!!

Worked for my Aunty last Friday. While there, I took pictures of a few inspirational items around the “classroom”.

Dare to live. Dare to dream. Dare to reach out & change your world.

Be not content with the pleasures of life.

Be not content with the comfort zone you find yourself in.

Continue to break out of the box.

Continue to break through the boundaries.

Never be too comfortable where you are.

There is always a higher level, a deeper level you are needed. 

You will never know.

You will never know what you can do, until you do it.

Another two auditions over the next two days. As well as rehearsals for The Fun Stage school plays. And tuition. And a short film shoot this weekend.

But I’m still restless.

There is something else I have yet to do.

A greater level I have yet to attain.

And I will not rest on my laurels until I get there.

I want to go swimming. Must continue skipping & jogging.

Please don’t rain, the next time I want to go swimming!
