note to self.

Finished my Vocals Stage 1 SPE. Open Stage @ Hark Music this afternoon.

**GOOD POINTS:

• Strong stage presence, facial expressions & emotional investment into the song- Good vocal tone & quality- Good layering between the 1st & 2nd times I sang through thesong

• Able to connect with the audience & not afraid to look them in the eyes**

**BAD POINTS / TO BE IMPROVED:

• Vocal techniques are not strong enough to support theemotions

• Too focused on the emotions & speaking the words, instead ofsinging

• Unable to bring up the emotions because of vocal limitations**

**CONCLUSION:

Since my stage presence is already there, I need to work on my singing skills & techniques now. Focus on the voice, to balance out the stronger emotional skills.**

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

To improve my stamina, I’ve started exercising (again). Skipped 800 times on Thursday, swam 16 laps (800m) yesterday. And once I’ve finished blogging, I’m going to jog for at least half an hour. Focusing on my dream… It takes hard work, but I’m willing to work hard to get there.

I’ve an important meeting next Thursday. Hope everything goes well.
