I’ve seriously laughed a lot today. From the time I woke up at 1p.m. till now, my jaws hurt. Hahaha.
So, for today, my motto was “Laughter is the best medicine.” Because for the past few days, I’ve been thinking & moping around too much. It’s time to pick myself up before I fly off this Saturday.
When I woke up, I logged onto Facebook. I chanced upon a photo of Nick Gulliver (from CCC) & Mengwei, and couldn’t help bursting out loud in laughter at the comments. Chorus Board people are really a crazy bunch.. Leaving so many quote-worthy comments on photos. Fun-loving, adorable bunch of people whom I really, really love. And I thank all those who left comments, and brightened up my day!
Then, I started teasing a friend online. Which was pretty funny too. Although in a bittersweet manner. But again, I laughed & laughed.
Had a quick audition with some RGS girls for a Total Defence short film. It was interesting, but my schedule can’t fit theirs so I think I won’t be able to do that project. After that, I walked around town & met up with Wenfu for awhile. Sat at Starbucks Raffles City, where I used my sole remaining $5 voucher, earned through the early morning prayer meetings in August. He went off to celebrate a friend’s birthday, I went off to Marina Square.
Met Stefan & got my pay & transport claims for the CUBIK project! Yay! Then I had dinner with Victor at MOF@Marina Square. The food there is quite nice, and they have interesting desserts. 15% discount for POSB cardmembers, and Victor’s membership card.. so the total was $46.58. Not bad. I had a Salmon Bento & a dessert (Macha Zen) which consisted of Japanese mochi, red bean & green tea ice-cream. Unfortunately, the ice-cream wasn’t really to my taste so he helped me finish it up. It was fun chatting with him.. And I laughed & laughed & laughed again. Now my jaws really hurt. Haha.
Then, when I got home & complained to a friend on MSN about feeling bored, he sent me the links to a few interesting clips on Youtube. Got me laughing all over again! Hahaha.
To tell the truth, I’m not really looking forward to my trip to Australia. I’d much rather stay here in Singapore. But my friends have told me it’s a good time for me to kick back & relax after a stressful & tiring year, so I guess I’ll heed their advice. And with friends & company like I had today, it was definitely a fun-filled day to lift my spirits. I love you guys!
