《96°C 咖啡》is my latest work to hit the TV screens in Singapore - debuting on 29 April, and playing every Monday - Friday, 9PM, on Channel 8. For those who cannot wait for the next episode, you can also subscribe to Toggle-It-First on

Not since 《難兄爛弟》(2009), have I had a recurring role on local TV dramas, so this can be considered a new beginning for me - of sorts. And since 《96°C 咖啡》marks many firsts for Singapore's
TV station, MediaCorp, I'm honored to be part of the cast.
This series is MediaCorp's first multi-platform drama, starting with 8
webisodes as a sort of prequel to the televised drama. Behind-the-scenes footage, interesting interviews, and cute merchandise all serve to draw viewers to connect more with this idol drama, complete with the latest cutesy Korean-inspired looks & fashion.I especially like my imaging in this drama - a different look to what I've had before in previous dramas.
My character is Xiuli 秀麗, a conservative finance department executive, working under my Boss, AVP Xu Ruolin
, one of the leads in this series. Playing a conservative character is slightly difficult for me, since I don't think I embody the word
in any manner, but hey, that's why it's called acting! (: Also having worked with the same colleagues over a period of time, I'm happy to have made new friends, among them are Angel Yeung (who plays Apple), and Celeste Khoo (who plays the very bitchy Ada).
I shall end this entry with a few screenshots from Episode 1 - the introduction of our characters.
Oh, I was also very happy to work with Priscelia Chan 曾詩梅 again. She is one of the kindest, gentlest, most generous and friendliest actresses I have ever worked with.Until next time!
