                    There was this really beautiful girl who said dreamily to her handsome beau: “LOVE ME, LOVE MY DOGS .”However the dandy man was disdainful, “Nope, I don’t like dogs. No way.”You guess it.The story did not have a fairy tale ending.DOGS MAKE GREAT PALS.They are faithfu l to a fault, forever forgiving , never judgmental .Best of all, they make wonderful companions , ready to accompany you on life’s journey without any qualms.YET there are many reports of human cruelty to dogs.Unwanted pets are often thrown into the streets to die when they have outgrown their cuteness, and left to fend for themselves.“A dog now sits waiting in the cold,Too faithful to leave, too perplexed to run,He’s been here for days now, Just sitting by the road waiting for you.He can’t understand why you left him there,He’s sure you’ll come back and that’s why he staysHis legs have grown weak, his throat parched and dryHe’s sick from hunger and closes his eyes,I wish you could only see how a waiting dog dies.”So cry me a river, man.Really touching, isn’t it?My late mother used to tell me that a friend can turn to foe anytime,  but never the dog.She taught me on how to really love and care for a doggie pet.Didn’t MARK TWAIN  said the same thing?IF YOU PICK UP A STARVING DOG AND MAKE HIM PROSPEROUS,HE WILL NOT BITE YOU,THIS IS THE PRINCIPAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DOG AND A MAN.It’s a lesson in life when we deal with any kind of friendship.Whether it’s rain or shine, you’ll always come home to a happy dog who will wag a joyful greeting to you.It’s a feel-great experience , check this out.Having a dog as pet is so cool.True, oh-so-TRUE.
