Vans Vans and Vans, it’s the shit right now, it’s been the bomb since 1966. It’s hard to avoid it, come on now, agree with me, it’s the most classic footwear brand from the US and again, agree with me, if your outfit doesn’t fit Vans classics, there must be something wrong with it. I know for a fact that heads that work at stripes and the swoosh also wear Vans. If the big corporate allow them to wear whatever they want to wear, you would see more Vans around plus…wouldn’t it look more appealing if designers were allowed to wear whatever they wanted to wear?
Anyway, here are some VANS that have just arrived at the shop.
AVE SK8 LOW
The instant classic. I remember when I first saw Jay rock these shoes before they were out, I was like, what the fuck…Sk8 Hi but low, what is that? He told me it was AV SK8 LOW…I was so amazed. To me, Sk8 Hi is quite loose inside allowing more room for your feet to move around which in my case, is not so good for skateboarding but this slimmer toe cap on AVE SK8 LOW is a different story. More fitted to your feet, which is most definitely better for flip tricks plus, it looks so damn good, you just want to skateboard whenever you are wearing it.
DOPE 2 colors; DENIM BLUE and GREEN/BLACK. What??? SICK.
J LAY
Not many people are feeling this model. FUCK, I’m backing it for sure. I love the shape and that Blazer feel in it too! Blazer SB took away that thin fabric right on top of the sole (everybody’s wondering why?) but this J LAY has that very important element. Good shoes, for sure. It’s all good, you borrow my design and I borrow yours, one love.
CHUKKA LOW
Come on now, CHUKKA is classic and now, another classic was born, sometimes it’s funny…don’t do too much, just chop CHUKKA into CHUKKA low and boom…another instant classic was born. Approved by many of the top professionals and amateurs that CHUKKA low is amazing for skateboarding. TRY it and you’ll understand. Plus, you’ll never go wrong with the original waffle sole.
