PKV (not Pok Khai Village) but Po Kong Village is the newest skatepark done by the Convic.
We were there to test it out today, well, certainly not me testing IT out, more Andy Lee, Nigel Ong and Piet Guilfoyle testing IT out.
I have to use a capital IT because PKV skatepark is THE BIGGEST one yet in Hong Kong.
Dayeem sun, when we got in there, it was like when the Bones Brigade in Searching for Animal Chin found those big ramps.
The non stop smile on our faces are were non stop.
This park almost brought tears to my eyes! We’ve been skateboarding in Hong Kong, promoting and spreading the gospel of skateboarding since we started in 87-88 and finally, today, the year 2010, we have a proper looking, proper sized, proper cement skateboard park.
OMG brother! This park makes everything else so damn tiny, it’s ridiculous. I didn’t do nothing but big O on my mouth in shock. IT makes me wonder, am I a real skateboarder? Growing up only skating the streets of Hong Kong, this park is a whole new level shit.
Well, one thing I have to say for sure, the future of Hong Kong skateboarding is so bright, you need dope sunglasses to see it.
I sincerely want to thank X-Fed, HK government and Convic for making this happen. Especially to WARREN STUART, all this wouldn’t be possible without his presence. RESPECT bro.
This park will be opened in August 2010, so yo, practice your drop in at Mei Foo, go get a helmet and pads (at least knee pads) and prepare for August 2010, trust me, all of you HK skateboarders will end up renting some apartments to live near Diamond Hill.
Look at the size of this bowl. Hewitt, Truijillo, Russo, Remillard, G Taylor, Perelson, where you at??
Piet ollie the big bank to bank. Dayeem sun.
Non stop smiling, loving each and every moment at PKV.
Nigel, flips the hip
Double Set seems to be basic shit these days. Piet kickflpped it second try. ILL SHIT
Piet, another dope backside big spin
Andy Lee has been complaining about lack of good transitions in Hong Kong after he finally
saw and skated this park, nothing but smiles. GOOD to see you smile Andy. Let’s do this Slurpee
next time!
