Thank you & Singapore here FOG comes!

Still jetlagged, but want to write and thank everyone who came out and supported FOG at SFIAAFF, we had a blast!  It was so nice to see Terence, Eugenia, Sam, Brian, Renée, Ivy and Pat... the FOG team's mini-reunion...  Stephen, we missed you and of course, my mate Eric.  Got to meet Angela's Keira too, so cute.  Spent time with my family (so nice), met some new friends and reconnected with some really old mates.  It's also Chi-hui's last term as the festival's director, so glad that I could be there to celebrate with him.  On top of that, FOG won a lil' award at the festival!

“This year’s Festival saw a real revitalization of independent Asian American cinema… As we paid tribute to the late Loni Ding, who was a trailblazer for the cinema, the Festival featured not only works from veteran filmmakers such as Ruby Yang and Curtis Choy, but also from a new wave of committed media makers, from S. Leo Chiang to Anne Misawa to Gerry Balasta.”—Chi-hui Yang, Festival Director

The San Francisco International Asian American Film Festivall (March 11 – 21, 2010), presented by the Center for Asian American Media, wrapped with an estimated attendance of over 25,000, including over 200 filmmakers, actors and industry guests. The program featured seven world premieres, one North American premiere and two U.S. premieres of feature-length films.

“This intimate film about one man’s search for his personal history and identity as told against the backdrop of the history of Hong Kong utilized the visual language of cinema to communicate a lyrical and captivating world full of uncertainty. For this work we’re pleased to honor FOG, directed by Kit Hui.”=============================

All in all, a great time in SF.  The only thing I regret... too busy so no time for Top Dog!  But I discovered Kara's cupcake!

Again, thank you everyone who came out and supported the film!

FOG will be going to Singapore next month at the Singapore International Film Festival!  Our Asian premiere!  Please come and support and spread the word!
