People lining up for the screening of at the Pacific Place Cinemas...

SIFF Artistic Director Carl Spence doing a Q&A with me. The audience was great. Warm and intelligent.I was in Seattle for four days for the Seattle International Film Festival. On the first day, Bao (Tran Quoc Bao), director of the short film , drove me around... The first Starbucks store, founded nearby in 1971, moved to its present location at Pike Place Market in 1976. It’s right next to the Farmer’s Market...

They shot at this restaurant in the Farmer’s Market.

Then Bao took me Post Alley...

The wall is covered by thousands of chewing gums. Apparently, the sticking of gum on the wall started in the 90's while patrons waited in line to buy theater tickets. It turned into a Seattle tourist attraction.

Directors’ dinner organized by SIFFMe, Bao, Cornelia Moore, Craig Friedson on the far right who's on the board of directors of SIFF and his friend, also named Craig
