San Francisco International Film Festival

SFIFF began last week and there are quite a lot of films I wanted to watch:

Alexandra (enjoyed Sokurov's Russian Ark and the Sun)

Big Man Japan

The Man From London

Mongol (Tadanobu Asano as Genghis Khan)

Still Life (have seen it several times on DVD but wanna see it on the big screen)

Umbrella

Up the Yangtze

Warlords (saw it at Castro! nice! but too bad it is a shorter version 17mins shorter than the dvd i saw)

this year no hk filmmakers come, what a pity!
