The 3 mins. film fest at root division was over and i think it was much better than i expected. The turnout was great, more than 100 people attended and since the screening venue was so small, it was totally overcrowded and most of us had to stand on the two sides of the room... (Thanks to the promotion at SFweekly and also Chronicle - http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/08/09/NS3QRBO3F.DTL&hw=root+division&sn=001&sc=1000)
the responses were great, people were generous, at least every film (including mine of course) won some applauses. For those who were there, yeah, I agree that some of the films are really crappy, but then there are also one or two that look alright.
Thanks for those who came and it was really great seeing you guys there, and sure for voting for my film. So for those who care, the first place goes to a film called "Death by Scrabble", second to "Lady Like" and third to "Daydreams".
Don't forget your dream!
