The Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a tribute and roast to executive director Paul Osaki on Saturday, September 13, at the Westin St. Francis Hotel.
Paul has been top dog at JCCCNC for more than 20 years and is a fixture of San Francisco’s Japantown. The tributes and roasts from the celebrities, elected officials and community members are almost certain to be memorable. I hope they video the program.
The event starts at 4 p.m. with cocktails, a silent auction and hors d’oeuvres from notable local chefs. Tickets start at $175.
