Hi ALL!! I'm Nina, the kinda sorta new kid on the block, but not really. Lightweight got my feet wet at Magic in February, but enough getting into the water one limb at a time, I'm jumping right into the Kallusive madness and am uber excited to be here! I started out as the 2008 Kallusive spokesmodel, but now i am also (drum roll please) your newest marketing specialist (thank you Alex and Michael)!! YAY!

Stevie Wonder at the Hollywood Bowl
(the only picture I have via camera phone)
The Hollywood Bowl is truly one of the most amazing venues here in So. Cal and one of the few that allows outside food and drinks. Another place that gets the Kallusive Certified stamp of approval.
A beautiful summer night filled with the amazing sounds of Stevie Wonder and his band. Couldn't miss this one. I rushed...Read more
Ever since Season 1 of ABDC has ended, Kaba Modern has been touring the nation, performing and teaching classes in places like Chicago, Houston, NY, and Canada. Of course they have been reppin Kallusive everywhere, and we have received nothing but love!
This week, they will be in their own backyard, performing at Vanguard in Hollywood, CA.
Come out to the event this Friday, check out Read more
Kallusive's summer started way before the official calendar date of June 21. I've been trying to capture a few of our best moments so far. From Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas and all the adventures in between, I've experienced sea sickness on board a cruise ship (yeah, you thought it couldn't happen on a big boat but I sought comfort in Dramamine), riding ATVs on the Baja 1000 route, swimming with dolphins, bboy jams, backyard bar-b-que's, rooftop pool parties, friendly tormenting from Celtics f...Read more
As summertime is in full swing, and the 4th of July is around the corner, there are many things we can count on during these hot couple of months. Sun, crowded beaches, bumper to bumper freeways, and the thousands of people standing in 100 degree heat to watch the Van's Warped Tour all over the nation. We all expect to see dozens of rock bands perform, with some only showing up for select dates, but there'll be bboys for every single show on this tour. The Massive Monkees out of Seattle, WA, are taking over the Warpe...Read more
I don't think I could speak for all of California, but most people would agree with me that this new legislation is ridiculous. I don't think the roads are going to be any safer if people start using Bluetooth headsets or whatever device that enables them to drive without a cellphone occupying their hands.

I'm a fan of Jay-Z and Wonderwall by Oasis is one of my favorite songs,
but Jay-Z doing his rendition of this '90s hit, I'm not so sure about that...
Who knew he played the guitar?
Eddie, the character you were introduced to in the previous post, hand-delivered the latest copy of T-World straight from his home Melbourne. Past features included 100 questions with The Hundreds, one of my personal fave interviews.
Kallusive is extremely honored to be featured in this publication. Afterall, this self-proclaimed t-shirt freak goes through the collections of thousands of clothing brands looking for tees that hit the spot. Two issues a year. That's it folks.Read more
First of all, I wanna congratulate Funkanometry SF for putting on their first annual Sockhop Dance Showcase this weekend in the heart of San Fransisco. Kallusive helped put on the show so we decided to take a visit to the city this weekend. We were received with nothing but mad love for our clothes and you couldnt walk one block on hiaght street or downtown without spotting someone rockin the Kallusive gear.
The boys and I; including Rogel from Funks SF and Jay from Kaba Modern!
Eddie, founder of T-World Magazine (Australia), who appropriately calls himself a t-shirt freak, paid a visit to Kallusive & Co. here in L.A. We apologized for the heatwave this past weekend upon their arrival, but to our surprise they were lovin' the hot weather. The polluted air, traffic and the need to show ID everywhere was something new for them, but we accomplished our mission which was to get them to chill the way we do and throw up their L.A. signs (yes, it was ...Read more
