Korean hip hop has spent the last 10 years trying to formulate it's identity as an emerging music genre, and Uptown has been one of the main groups to help push that music along. Originating in 1997, the members of Uptown have gone through many changes, but are still one of the most popular groups in Korea today. With new female vocalist Jessica Ho, the 3 remaining members Chris Jung, Carlos Galvan, and Steve Kim have embraced their new style. Rockin' Kallusive to the fullest, they were recently seen performing their new hit, Black Knight, on a major TV network.
