This past weekend was the start of a new chapter for Kallusive as we experienced our first race at Formula D. The crew spent many days and sleepless nights getting the Kallusive x City Tire Nissan 350Z TT ready for race day, but in the end, it all payed off.

As a rookie on the circuit, Carl was definitely the underdog, but after this weekend, I am sure no one is going to take him lightly. As we qualified for the top 32 on Saturday, we got paired up to face 2-time defending champion, Tanner Foust.

After a few small mistakes on the first run, Carl gave Tanner a run for his money on his 2nd run, giving the crowd a reason to chant "one more time!". "Nobody is really expecting a rookie to beat last year's champion, but I set a mark during my lead run," says Carl. Top 32 was a huge accomplishment for Carl's first race, but he is very confident that he is going to surprise a lot of people this season.
Carl showed that his overseas experience and knowledge of drifting is going to carry him to the top of the leader-boards very soon. Congratulations to the Kallusive x City Tire team for a very successful weekend and we look forward to making some noise on the Formula D track all season long.
