Yeah - so... this is me roadtesting the new Nikon D90, the prosumer DSLR which is attempting to revolutionise the enthusiast user of the market by incorporating - wait for it - a video function in a DSLR for the very first time. And it's HD to boot.
But how does it fare in the bread-and-butter stakes, namely photos themselves?
Here's my home studio set-up:
one sb-600 flash;
one softbox/flash;
one umbrella/flash; and
one easily-available model (in this case, my sister).
Not a lot to work with. But the D90 performed well, in my humble opinion. Minimal photoshopping on these, mainly for the black and white one.
