first off the bat, does anyone find the following review for the Liam Neeson movie Taken slightly offensive. I’m not a major supporter of the french but still i find this unecessory.
New York Magazine David Edelstein
Taken–in the hands of director Pierre Morel (District B13), with Neeson in nearly every shot–works like gangbusters. The Frenchies have made the filet mignon of meathead vigilante movies.
new york magazine also. what the hell. anyway. if you have a chance to get to the theaters to see this movie, it is quite brilliant. Liam Neeson takes the martial arts of qui gon jin and ra’s al gul and totally uses the martial arts to the max. anyway i feel that the following review is a much better reivew and less inclined to be insulting to me.
Chicago Sun-Times Roger Ebert
Taken shows Mills as a one-man rescue squad, a master of every skill, a laser-eyed, sharpshooting, pursuit-driving, pocket-picking, impersonating, knife-fighting, torturing, karate-fighting killing machine who can cleverly turn over a petrol tank with one pass in his car and strategically ignite it with another.
anyway, that aside it i always seem to say this but i haven’t been blogging in a while and i hate it. but i am slowing phasing myself to this music studio. i have spent just over three years letting this place sit on the back burner but it is now finally time for it’s moment to come. if it indeed it is. whether a nother job comes in the way, or not i don’t know. but right now in my mind this is what is going to happen.
i’m pretty excited about all this. i am sad that i am going to leave this place. i’ve had fun but there is also so much i am missing out on. i think at least. to be closer to mom and dad again. and be closer to the things i love aside from music. see you soon.
hi everyone, welcome to my world of music and art. i am a writer. i also own a recording studio in central and am drummer of sorts. hang out, leave a message
