drums drums drums

it has been a while since i really just sat down and played drums on my own just to see what would come out of it.  i have been so caught up with playing drums for bands and playing shows i haven't really bee practicing on my own and really furthering my skills as a drummer.  yesterday was one of the first days where i finally did do that and it felt incredibly nice to be able to do that.  the result of it wasn't particularly great.  in fact, i think it was pretty crap.  but then thing is, if i didn't do that i would never know how much work i still need to do in terms of practicing and improving as a drummer.
