The classes will be led by Joe Fiorello A Hong Kong-based screenwriter and director with over 15 years of experience, Joe has written six feature length screenplays (three of them produced), worked as a co-writer, re-writer or script consultant on numerous others. He started teaching storytelling and scriptwriting technique in 2016. (in collaboration with producer Sophia Shek)

The first four lessons will cover: 1) Quick basics of screenwriting and structure for those that are getting started. 2) Brainstorming to find the seeds that will grow into the full story 3) Outlining the story with comparison to other movies in the genre 4) Preliminary troubleshooting (how to get past the first act, how to get unstuck etc.).

Private script-reading is available for those who wish to have their work checked and commented. Please check with the instructor for fees.
