Feast on 9th Jan '08

Yep as u read from the last blog, it's my mum's birthday. And becoz they ate in the early evening; i had piano lesson till 830pm, my youngest bro Ben had maths tuition till 9 plus, we went for supper or rather Super Late dinner.

Think by the time we started eating it was 10pm. Didn't take any photos of the food. But they were REALLY GOOD! Greg, the older of my younger bros, knew the boss/chef there who was an ex air steward-he cooks really well~ We had one black pepper crab, one tang hoon (vermicelli) crab which was nicer than it sounds coz the tang hoon was fried with a special sauce which Greg suspected was marmite...anyway it was nice, perennial fav oat prawns with magarine sadly instead of butter (since my dad steers clear from dairy pdts), special dish was Brazilian ribeye beef stir-fried, fish maw with crab meat soup (Huge portion), curry fried chicken wings. And my dad ordered additional Hor Fun sliced fish, my brother gluts had extra fried rice....i was keen on extra chicken wings :P SUPER FULL.....till now   Strongly recommend this gem of a eating place hidden in the red light district of Geylang Lorong 37. The name of the shop is Ya3 Guang1 Da4 Pai1 Dang4. Think the best dishes of the night were the brazilian beef and the oat prawns....my bros and i wacked the fried oats....

Super unhealthy stuff, and ate so much so late somemore...heh. Food glorious food.
