My mum's coming home from her niang jia at Taiwan today, taking the 625pm flight. Previously she had forgotten to do her visa hence had to change to today instead of 28th Dec to come back to Singapore. So i called Jetstarasia up to do the necessary changes, gave them my credit card number to deduct $14 for change of flight. Everything seemed fine and they emailed my brother the ticket for confirmation of the new flight.
Until my mum called just now. They claimed that they didn't receive the $14. I was very puzzled and angry, called the SG side to ask wat had happened. Apparently my DBS bank didn't allow the $14 deduction, i guess it was due to the $14k wedding bills and DBS haven't deducted from my bank the expenses yet...weird...watever. Anyway, since the bank didn't let go the mere $14 to Jetstar Asia, i was asking the staff why Jetstarasia couldn't call my handphone (which they had) to let me know about the problem, so that i can give another credit card number to deduct. Staff said coz they were an inbound call centre. Sounded lame the excuse, but at least this staff helped me to deduct the $14 via my other credit card, and my mum could board the flight. I was telling Alexis, how can they let such things happen and didn't call me- my mum is ready to board the flight, Jetstar have sent the confirmation email, and the hiccup with the bank, and they have my number and didn't call me to inform me of the problem. And just becoz of a MERE $14, my mum almost couldnt board her flight back!!! Come on man...this is a SCREW UP. They're so inflexible, i mean...and they didn't have the courtesy to inform me of the problem. Alexis the staff said she will do feedback. I told her i had forgotten the previous staff's name, if not i'd bring his name up to complain. My mum and i were furious...
