I started being a real "sneakerhead" back in the 6th grade. Caught the bug bad in like '88. Worked at dozens of odd jobs just to feed the addiction. As I got older, I tried to remain true to the game. A contributor. A teacher. A mentor. And always—always a STUDENT. Tried to represent as best I could. The culture grew. And the world got small. And the masses caught wind. They finally figured what we've known for decades. #SneakerCulture is a reflection of sports, music, fashion, business & technology. There's not many other things that can encompass all that.⠀ This Friday, the Brooklyn Museum will host "The Rise of Sneaker Culture". Yes, the same museum that houses Egyptian artifacts, Warhols, Lichtensteins & Basquiats, will now house the most important footwear creations known to man. And yes, the #? will be in the building! But much more importantly, we are ALL allowed in the building. #StartedFromTheBottomNowWeHere #SneakerCulture
