My good friend, Kit Chan's latest album, "Retranslation", is a collection of classic Chinese, Mandarin and English songs.

It is not just another “pop" album, but a reflection of Kit’s musical journey through the years.

There is a sense of euphemism, persistence and perhaps a touch of melancholy.

The songs may have been sung by others, through Kit’s interpretation, they are translated into her chronicle. Inadvertently, also portraying my experience during my overseas stints in the past years!
