Above Second in hosted Arrested Motion’s first curatorial project, East West Connect, with a lineup that represented the diverse selection of art we love and cover for you every day. It was gratifying to see that art fans in HK appreciated this type of art as well, evidenced by the turnout and the fact that most pieces that sold so far have found homes with local collectors. We also enjoyed some interesting discussions with attendees on the idea and theme of the show which certainly struck a chord as in essence Hong Kong and its residents, because the history of the city-state, is a melting pot of East and West influences.
