Ok so New Year was in Japan. Had a wonderful new year eve dinner and counting down in an Izakaya, before heading to a temple for new year prayers and look around.
In the temple, there are night markets selling food and new year goods.
I'm somehow more interested in the food they offer.
Saw some Sumo Wrestlers. Well I think I'm almost as buff as they are. Its the jacket.
I had made a trip down to Mio's Pole Dance studio Artflow, owned by World Famous Nagata Lu. And took a trial lesson.
I must say I really admire the ladies doing pole dance. It requires so much energy and arm power and grip power. Basically it uses every single muscle on your body.
My sloppy 'one lesson performance' in a more feminine manner. Hope you like it :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-xIfDyTcoEAll in all, pole dancing was an exotic experience for me. But definitely not something I'd like to pick up. Hahaha! Anyway it was Mio's birthday that day and her friend Andria got this pretty birthday cake for her. Does it look familiar?
I forgot to add that I had one of the largest oyster in my life at Mio's favourite Oyster Bar. Her pole dance instructor Nalu (who taught me the sole lesson as well) found a crab in her oyster. It was said that it isn't uncommon to find live crabs in fresh oysters. But it would be nice if you can find pearls in it.
Next stop, Niigata. Its the first time I see snow and touch snow in my life. See whats my reaction
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awq3IGUO6DEIts lots of fun skiing. Look out for the next skii blog!
