So this is what happens when the Aero company screw up your flight.My flight lands and you're requir to transit to another flight within one hour.
The flight ended up landing in a different terminal, and the staff are absolutely not helpful in arranging immediate transfer for me.I mean, there was still 45 minutes before taking off, but the staff (who obviously took advantage of the fact that they can't speak good english) told me to wait in a room and a representative from Aeroflot would come speak to us (there are 7 of us in total). We were told he would come in 30 minutes, but till we leave the country, no such person ever showed up. That's the second pissed off thing I came across so far. We waited for 2 hour plus. I believe the staff could had at least release us out for dinner by our own or at least for some duty free shopping. They just wanted to keep us there. The flight just took off leaving us here not knowing what the hell is going on. We had to stay over for the night. WHAT???A man from our group voiced out quite a lot when we were told we had to stay over for free for a night as the next flight is 24 hours later. He demanded free meals and yes, we got our free meals. Its some sucky canteen food that reminds me of army. The hotel we were staying in was Novotel, it is big and comfortable enough to at least bring down our anger. But looking at the food, I sigh again.After we had our dinner, we were escorted to 3rd floor of the hotel, which is dedicated just for transiting passengers. We are ABSOLUTELY not allowed to leave level 3 from that point onwards, because we did not go through immigration clearance as we have no russian visa. the only escalator on this floor is manned by 2 bouncer-looking Russian men who can't speak english, and the emergency stairways are locked. We were 'locked up' here after that. Like a prisoner. With Cameras all over the place. I just hope they didn't install one in each of our rooms to monitor our actions.Oh did I mentioned we are treated like army recruits? They knocked on my door at 8am in the morning and said the only few english words they know: 'Breakfast'. We were gathered outside the lift and escorted down all together for our meal. It was one of the most uncomfortable breakfast ever with 2 oversized Bodyguards overlooking us munching away. Some 2 person from our group has a 10am flight and they left shortly after breakfast. After that we had to 'fall in' again and be escorted back to our level 3 dungeon.Frankly speaking, it wasn't that bad as its afterall a 4 star hotel with gym, spa, bar and internet access. The only thing is we have absolutely no access to any of them except for the internet which cost 8USD for 1 hour. They don't provide bath robe so I can't wash my clothes. I had to sleep in my hoodie and jeans too. At least I managed to use the shower lotion to wash my undergarments.Then it was lunch. Don't know if I should say it looks better or worse. Room Service this time. It was a well spent afternoon to finish typing down this blog (Which i forgot to upload immediately after touching down Singapore). I swear I'll never that this airline ever again. Not forgetting that they lost my luggage and had me wearing the same clothes too for 2 days during my departing trip.Nevertheless, I did enjoyed myself during my break and will blog about it soon when I have time. Meanwhile, I'm back to work. Busy schedules busy schedules!
