Recently I came across this nice cosy place located within the heart of Chinatown Singapore, a place where production houses, music schools gather.
Its the Casual Poet shop.
Its a very casual gathering place, filled with art books to CDs, mainly HongKong/Taiwanese artistes stuffs. I found lots of HOCC and AT17 articles down here.
founded in late 2007, casual poet culture is a multifunctional label/studio based in Singapore. we believe in easy days, and will do anything to go to work in t-shirts, shorts and slippers.
There's also two guitars, 2 TV sets with DVD player (i think) with a mic for artistes to show their stuffs, do screenings or just jamming. Kinda reminds me of the artiste cafes in Daikanyama in Japan, which is shown in the Anime DMC.
Casual afternoon spent seating down with just sandwich and coffee, doing my work and blogging.
Owner Rebecca asked me not to put her pictures up, but she's too nice a person not to. so i blurred the picture on purpose.
