Buy-And-Throw-Away no more!

Its been pretty bad for me lately. Didn't have any shoot schedule since I return from HongKong, and I failed my Army Fitness Test because of some stupid stubbornness in me. Now I have till my birthday to pass it or else I'll be scheduled for remedial trainings from the Army. And worst of all, my phone suddenly crashed and I've lost all my contacts and schedule. Fortunately it wasn't much of a hassle but if you are my friend and has my contact number, please kindly do drop me a text/whatsapp/email stating who you are so I can record your number down again. I want it too but mummy only got me Bata!I wonder how long ago was the brand Bata being nicknamed 'Buy and Throw away' because of its boringness. Well, Bata was about to do something to remove that label. I was invited to the reopening of Bata Flagship Store at Peninsula Plaza on Thursday, titled 'Unveil the new look'. Check this out.How about that. Looks pretty good? Its been a childhood image to me that Bata only looks like this:But never the more fashionable side. I grew up like that. Thinking Bata is just about school shoes. Today, I learnt that Bata is actually originated from Czech Republic (Not Singapore!) back in the 1890s. And many surprising facts about this brand. I've also witnessed that Bata does quality Mens and Womens Shoes as well. I'd strongly recommend fellow Singaporeans to drop that idea of school shoes on Bata, and take a look at the products they are carrying right now.
