So terribly uninspired currently. Perhaps there will be more spark after a days rest. Overtime and freezing winds dull the neurotransmitters and keep the muse in a small frozen closet. During such times the mind tends to wander and I have come to the realization that so many of our inner belief systems are based on language structure. How the communication system works can and does affect the mannerisms of a people. I do not think one is better than the other however the alphabet system is mutable, changing, and does not rely on how the letter is written. In fact these words more so rely on how they fit together with other letters, this then dictates how they are spoken and communicated. Where as some languages rely entirely on the structure of the character, they are solid, not mutable and only change if they have some inflection or inference to other small aspects around them. There is also the inability to add new words, making diversity and change a definite challenge. How do you describe things as they alter and mutate when the language structure remains the same, here there is an interesting twist. Some languages come up with descrīptions by altering the tone or by using descrīptive words. So it would stand to reason that some discoveries become metaphor as they are solid only in the descrīption and there fore can seem beyond a linear frame or tangible idea. It is a theme I have toyed with in many of my writings. And as you may or may not have heard there is the feminist belief that the alphabet is phallic and blah blah blah, I do not buy into this. For instance take a look at Arabic, very curvy, very soft and feminine and well the system there is far from feminist in nature.
