If you don’t already know, I’m a theatre nerd. A huge one, according to the non-theatre going people around me. I love going to the theatre, being enthralled in the magic of live storytelling, and have performed in quite a few shows myself. So over the years I thought I’d had my fair share of live performances that were unconventional, that pushed me out of my comfort zone, that required me to grit my teeth and dive head first into the deep end of the pool… but NOTHING could’ve prepared me for my craziest live performance yet. .

In the second episode of SGAG’s new series HELP LAH!, @nodiooo and I were kidnapped and whisked off blindfolded… to learn PRO WRESTLING! We had 2.5 lessons that ended in a live match against each other, complete with wrestling personas and costumes. I think it might be one of the craziest things I’ve ever done??? Everything hurt. I didn’t remember a time when I wasn’t hurting. I felt like the pain had become part of my body. I also felt like I was on an episode of Netflix’s GLOW but prided myself on the fact that our moves were cooler because of our super cool (and super pro) coaches @theandstatement and @alexisfrigginlee! They put a lot of time and effort into making Nadia and I the Chilli Padi and Gobstopper respectively. (do not laugh at our wrestling names we took really long to come up with them) .
