When it rains, it pours....

It's been a busy month ever since I closed with the original stage piece I was doing, The Divine Mrs Sheridan.   There is talk that the director wants to take it to various Fringe Festivals. 

Immediately after closing, I spent a week working on the official Macau tourist promo video with an amazing team lead by Jason Kwan.  While we were working, he got news that he was up for one of the 5 best cinematographers at the HK Film Awards for work on Merry-Go-Round which he totally deserved.  It was great to work with a film team that really was a team, down to the lighting guys, the track layers, hair and makeup, and the behind the scenes organizing production company.  More info on Jason  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1712317/

Also just got news that Far Away Eyes was picked up at the Cannes film market by the distributor Multivisionnair in the US, so congrats to Maria Orzel at Strada Films and all her work producing the film. http://farawayeyes-movie.com/?page_id=2 A short that I worked on called Metropark is being finished up and submitted to short film fests.  It's a film set in the hotel which was quarantined during the bird flu scare and follows a fictional story line.  Directed by Joe Maritnez, amazingly talented guy.
