So happy that the premier of The Divine Mrs Sheridan makes it on the editor's picks list for this week.  We open Tuesday, and Mrs Sheridan is on only for 3 performances at the Fringe.

By the time she’d reached her 18th birthday in 1770, Elizabeth Linley, world-class singer and great beauty, had been painted by Gainsborough and Reynolds, had had songs written for her by Mozart, and was feted as England’s most popular celebrity. Then she met and married the equally talented young writer, Richard Brinsley Sheridan, and spent the next 20 years in a turbulent whirl of personal, sexual and political intrigue, all vividly recounted in this one-woman show.
